Accessibility Statement
1. Our commitment to accessibility
NUOVA COLOMBOSTILE SRL is committed to ensuring that its website is accessible to everyone, regardless of individual abilities or the technologies used.
Universal accessibility
We design for everyone, taking into account different visual, auditory, motor and cognitive abilities.
Continuous training
We continuously update our skills on accessibility best practices.
User-centred approach
We place every visitor’s browsing experience at the centre of our design choices.
2. Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
WCAG 2.1 Level AA
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 define how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Level AA represents a good balance between accessibility and technical feasibility.
Fundamental principles:
- Perceivable: information and user interface components must be presented in ways that users can perceive.
- Operable: user interface components and navigation must be operable.
- Understandable: information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable.
- Robust: content must be robust enough to be reliably interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.
3. Non-accessible content
Despite our efforts to ensure the accessibility of all content, some limitations may still exist:
- Colour contrast (WCAG 1.4.3): some graphic elements or colour combinations may not always provide sufficient contrast.
- Keyboard navigation (WCAG 2.1.1): in some sections, keyboard navigation may not be fully optimised.
- Alternative text (WCAG 1.1.1): some images may not have fully comprehensive alternative text descriptions.
- Third-party content: external components or embedded content may not be fully compliant with WCAG 2.1.
- Multimedia content (WCAG 1.2.2): some videos may lack synchronised subtitles or complete transcripts.
Exceptions
The non-compliances listed above are considered justified exceptions as they:
- would require a disproportionate burden to correct;
- relate to legacy content created before the obligations came into force;
- are due to technical limitations of third-party platforms.
